Welcome to a new year everyone! I hope that 2019 has kicked off well for you and your family. There's been some chilled out holiday and some birthday celebrations for us before my husband landed himself in hospital for a week. He's home again now and we wait to find out where to next.
Anyhoo, after sharing my 2019 Memory Keeping Tracker on instagram there have been some requests for generic planners for people who are working on past years and also working on monthly albums.
I'm linking here to my weekly trackers for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 for you.
My Project Life Type A planner template is here.
And just below here, I am attaching generic monthly and weekly memory keeping trackers. Enjoy!

Merry December everyone!
Yep, it's been mighty quiet around here I know. Most of my memory keeping sharing now happens over on instagram here but today I've got something to share with you.
Part of me feeling on track with my Project Life for the last few years has included my memory keeping tracker. I've updated it ready to go for 2019. There are two versions. One with labelled tick boxes and one without. Feel free to print them off and enjoy them for your own personal use.  I'd love you to tag me if you end up using them!
I use these trackers in conjunction with my Project Life planner which can be downloaded a few posts before before this one. :)
I might see you over on insta, or who knows, perhaps I'll post more here in 2019! ;)

Instagram Live on Project Life Process in Lightroom

12/1/2018

After some chatting on the Project Life Australia Facebook Page, I went live on Instagram to talk about how I manage my Project Life workflow, when I'm up to date and also when I'm working backwards. I have recently extended my use of Lightroom from just editing and catalogue management to creating smart collections and quickly creating drag and drop templates. This enables me to quickly export my photos for the week ready to print. It has been revolutionary for me.
Remember that this is a very basic video recording from an instagram live so it's not great quality, but there's lots of information here for you if you're interested in that kind of thing!
Let me know if you have any questions! x

Hi everyone! It's a new year and for me, that means getting organised to help me for the next 365 days!
One way that I have kept on top of things (mostly!) this year has been through using my tracker. I have this and my page planners on a clipboard which makes it easy to see where I'm up to.
I've created a tracker for me again this year which I am sharing for your personal use. You can download the file below.

A project life planner

I recently shared the above photo on instagram and had several people ask me where I found the template. It's just one that I put together to heklp me in planning my layouts. Because I print off site, I often plan out my layouts and so knowing what will go where helps me when working on pages weeks later than they happened (and sometimes years later but that's ok!). It also means that I don't print photos that I don't need which saves a little money too.
So here's the document. I stick to Type A page protectors. When I add an insert I hand draw that on the planner page or I pop it on top on a post it note. It works well.

Project Life- A New Year & Catching Up!

It's a new year and for me that gets me excited about establishing routines and ways that I can keep organised for the year ahead.

Last year I did so very little Project Life.

While I am not freaked out about keeping up or having so much to do, it does make me a little sad that I wasn't able to make time for myself to do this hobby that I love and so value. I'm committed this year to making time for me and also to working backwards to getting our stories told.

I've realised that the years where I managed to stay on top of things, I planned my pages. This helps me to not print photos that don't get used, to know that every pocket is filled and where my journaling cards will go. It also means for me that when the photos are in my hand (I usually print my photos at the shops) that I know exactly where they need to go when I'm home.

Occassionally I print my photos at home, and when I do so I find that I don't need to plan my layouts, but when I need to chose photos to print off site I find that planning my layouts works best for me.

Another way that I have simplified my process this year is by pre-filling my entire album with the weekly card and 3x4 cards. I stamp the dates and write the week number on a 4x6 card and love the consistency of this throughout my albums since 2013. I have added the 3x4 cards with a mix of journal and graphic cards. I am well prepared to change them as needed, but it's a good start for me and already I find that I am going to my album during the week to write directly onto a card. It's been so great. The kits I am using this year come from my stash. I am committed to using what I have and also to sharing my stash and my love of Project Life! There will be LOTS of Coral kit with a little Happy and Better Together edition thrown in.

In order to keep up and to work backwards, I have created a Memory Keeping Tracker that you can see below. I have created one for 2015, 2016 and 2017 as these are my albums that need attention is small and super big ways! Beneath this photo there is a link that you can click on which should allow you to download my Memory Keeper Tracker. Free for your personal use! I'd love to know if you've downloaded it and if you've found it helpful by leaving a comment below or tagging me on my instagram  @beckholdermemorykeeping where I share all things Memory Keeping!

Project Life... how we look at week 32

I am 'behind'... but I'm ok with that... mostly! :) I am dying for some alone time to pump through more weeks but here is a little snapshot of where I am at the moment. I quite like it when I can pop LOTS of photos into pockets at the same time and I'm looking forward to doing that.
You will be able to see an example of the planner that I use to help me plan what photos I need to print and what I already have in pockets. Bring on more time for project lifeing and full albums! How are you traveling this year?

Project Life photo folder organisation

I want to share here a wonderful resource that I used this year to help me to keep track of my edited photos for Project Life. Caylee Grey has a fantastic website and she has once more provided a freebie to her Project Life Folder Organisation. Here's a quote from her blog post,
For the last two years that I did Project Life, I found that one of the most invaluable tools were my digital folders. They very easily helped me figure out where I was in the year, what dates went to a specific week, and they kept my digital templates within them. Nice and organised.

To visit Caylee's blogpost and download a zip file to her folder organisation click here or the picture below (from her site).

I hope that it helps you as much as it has me!

December Daily 2014: Day 8

9/12/2014

This year I am a member of The Stamp Spot Documenting December 2014 design team.
I am using their kit as a foundation for my album this year. Read more about that in my blogpost here.
I'm linking up with Ali Edwards, the brains behind December Daily too.

The Story of Today
Today was a special day because it was my birthday! :) There was some celebrating to be had. Toby had his first day of holidays today and it is going to be SO good to have an extra set of hands around at home. He spoiled me with a new camera. We aren't usually very big gift givers, however it was time for a new camera for me and the timing was right. We'll share it... but I get first dibs! ;)
My mum came over after work and minded the kids so that Toby and I could enjoy lunch out with just the two of us which was a real treat. We then went and did some little jobs before we arrived home to a birthday cake with candles and a very happy looking Tilly, singing 'Happy birthday" to me. Those moments are pretty fantastic as a mum. The rest of the evening was pretty typical for around here. There was a tantrum because I was wanted in the bath with both kids, just how I wanted to spend my birthday evening. Toby and I ate bacon and eggs for dinner when the kids finally went to sleep. Romance right there!

Here's the page... very simple! The lovely white card with the red foil and the gold number are both from The Stamp Spot kit. I stamped some red cardstock with Ali's embrace and celebrate stamp and cut the words on my silhouette using a birthday set of Ali's from Designer Digitals.

Ready to Document December & Project Life App

Have you entered the GIVEAWAY?

http://beckholder.weebly.com/blog/a-documenting-december-giveaway

I've been busy! A lovely new friend and her little boy spent the day with us on Thursday. The kids played together so beautifully (with only a littłe obligatory mischief) while the mums got into our December Daily more. Using my kit from The Stamp Spot I completed my foundation pages including the cards above. Only 2 more sleeps until we can get started!

I also downloaded the Project Life app yesterday. I've wondered about it for a while but it's crazy cheap this weekend for Anerica's Black Saturday weekend and I couldn't resist. I used it to create the above collage and I think it will be helpful for planning and Project Lifeing on the road.

Happy weekend!
