I am using their kit as a foundation for my album this year. Read more about that in my blogpost here.
I'm linking up with Ali Edwards, the brains behind December Daily too.
The story of today...
Well, today became Santa day! I always had planned on today including writing a letter to Santa and so we spent a very short amount of time this morning at the kitchen bench with one of our Christmas books and toys out for reference as she wanted to draw a picture of Santa. She was so focused as she drew her him in less than 5minutes, checking that he haddd a hat, a 'hairy thing under his nose' and a beard. There were fingers and a belt. Her drawing always amazes me.
Santa talk continued this afternoon as we wrote a letter to Santa and walked to the post box to send it. She's grown a lot since 2012 when she last posted a letter to Santa! Tilly was roughly the same age there that Sam is now. I love these photos of then and now that show what changes and what stays the same. It's one of the reasons why I love Project Life and December Daily.
Phew, lots of words today... now to the pages!
I've used 4 pages for today's spread as I really wanted to include Tilly's original drawing, the Santa photo and the story behind today. Much of the journalling comes from this blog post (written on the night of December 5). I also have used some silhouette cuts today- Santa by Ali Edwards and believe which is part of Rachel Hodge's Christmas set. Everything else is included in The Stamp Spot Documenting December kit and red and green add on (sold out).
