I am using their kit as a foundation for my album this year. Read more about that in my blogpost here.
I'm linking up with Ali Edwards, the brains behind December Daily too.
Today was a challenging one. We are all feeling tired after some extra activities and the excitement of the season is huge for Tilly. Sam is popping more teeth so is needing lots of extra loving and he is going through a big developmental leap... he took a step today! I am staying up too late blogging and December Dailying (and loving it!).
To take stock, we had a home day today. There were a few little visits from friends, some bubble blowing, a walk to the creek to look for ducks, (too much) screen time and some fun with paint and sequins as Tilly and I worked on some Christmas craft.
The pages today are pretty simple...I created a journal card by stamping Ali's around here stamp on kraft cardstock, then I listed what happened today, punctuated by silver stars.
I got to use the today sucked freebie by Caylee Grey, which I printed off a while ago just in case. I toned it down by adding stickers from my kit to say 'some of'. I kind of love the way that it came out! ;) The 4x6 at the bottom is a simple collage created in Picasa of the two kids who fell asleep easily (and early) tonight... Tilly on the couch as I fed Sam. This is a rare event here!
The right hand side it a 5x7 enlargement of the kids playing with bubbles this morning. It was the first time that Sam had seen bubbles and he is just like his sister... he loves them! I journalled a little of the story around the outside of white cardstock, added a doily, some washi and a sticker or two and called it a day.
